Dear Raphael,
Thankyou and your team so so very much for making our Wedding Day so special! We just got back from our honeymoon and our first priority is to thank all of the wonderful people who made our day so amazing. Looking back to our Wedding at Mali Brae Farm on Friday 4th May 2018, we cannot believe what in incredible bunch of talented musicians you have!
They without a doubt set the tone for the day and created an incredible atmosphere that had EVERYONE enjoying themselves and raving about the band. For starters, Glen played solo Acoustic Guitar and Vocals for our outdoor ceremony. He arrived well ahead of time, to get set up and stoically battled the bitter cold and gale-force winds that struck us on the day. He never once showed what must have been extreme discomfort, and he patiently waited while the girls arrived late, and was ready to start the moment we arrived. His fingers must have been freezing, to the point we are surprised he could manage to play his guitar. It gives us goosebumps to remember his beautiful rendition of “Marry Me” by Train. It was such a special piece to walk down the aisle to, and he played it so well.
Then to the reception, I wish I knew all of the musician’s names, so we could personally thanks them all. Special thanks though to Glen and Jasmine on the vocals, but all musicians in the 6-piece band were fantastic! Their professionalism was outstanding. We were running quite behind schedule, and they patiently waited and then were some how able to catch up. They made us feel so comfortable and at ease. We were worried once we were running behind, but we quickly realised that the band had it under control and nothing was a problem for them. They managed to pack in the tunes in our tight schedule and create some absolute magic in the air.
It’s hard to describe until you see it for real, but this band is incredible! We highly recommend them for any wedding or function. Every single one of our guests commented on the amazing band, the great music and wanted to know who they were and how we found them! The band met every request. They easily handled our music on the iPod for our first dance. All equipment necessary was on hand and they handled all of our requests with ease.
They really knew how to read the vibe of the crowd, to the point where the dance floor was packed the entire time! During intermission, they played some great tunes on the iPod, which kept people happy, and when they started setting up for the next set, the crowd suddenly grew again in anticipation.
Even we were surprised to see our older family and friends up on the dance floor. We never thought our overseas guests would feel comfortable to get up and dance, because its not common in their culture, but EVERYONE of them was up there to enjoy the music! The night came to such a perfect end with our special request last song “Horses”, it was the perfect atmosphere to look around the room and see everyone up and enjoying themselves. It was so special to see the faces of all our loved ones surrounding us with so much joy and happiness. We will always remember that moment!
The night went so quickly. I wish I had have had time to chat to each of the band members and thank them personally, but if you could please extend our thanks to each person who played that night, we would be most grateful. We will highly recommend Press Club Band to all of our friends and family, and we are most happy for you to share this review on your website, or any other forum you advertise. (If we could have given 11 stars we would have!)
